HIGHER EDUCATION

HE at HRC

Hertford Regional College offers a range of full and part-time higher education courses in partnership with the University of Hertfordshire and other higher education institutions.

Our courses build firm foundations for your long term career success; we focus on employment related skills and knowledge designed to meet local employment needs. You can begin your studies at the level that is right for you: an Access to HE course, Foundation Degree or Extended Degree.

HRC is a friendly and welcoming place to study. Study groups are often small and focused and our tutors encourage you to share your own experience and provide opportunities for your personal development beyond your course study. Our stimulating mix of technical, commercial and creative courses meet high quality standards – equal to any similar course elsewhere in the UK. The College has been commended in recent QAA reports for programmes in Art and Design and IT and Business and has an excellent record of student success and progression to further study at the University of Hertfordshire or elsewhere and to employment.

Higher education opportunities are available at any stage in your life - when you leave school, progress from college, return to study after a break - and they can be provided in ways which fit around busy modern life.
